All things clarinet
Lessons can be booked directly with me by phone or email. While clarinet lessons in person are always best and preferred, we can book a lesson online utilizing a mutually agreed video service.
Payment: Lessons are $30/half hour. One lesson a week is ideal and payment for the month at the beginning of the first lesson is preferred. Payment for the lesson is due at the time of the lesson, unless paying for the entire month. Cash or check is preferred. You can also use the link below to pay for lessons and is required if lessons are virtual.
There is no make-up lesson policy. If you cancel a lesson that has already been paid, that lesson is not made up. If I cancel a lesson that has already been paid, you will receive a credit toward your next lesson.
My Teaching Philosophy:
I believe having musical talent and being able to pass along that knowledge of a particular instrument to others is a gift. I also feel it is a larger purpose that would be selfish of me not to share! I’m thankful for my many teachers and the wealth of information learned from them. Learning an instrument teaches you dedication and perseverance. In a society where we want and get things instantly, learning an instrument does not have a short cut.
It is my job as their teacher to set the expectations very high; higher than the student may think they can achieve at first. The journey to reach those heights is how the student truly discovers their talent and themselves. I provide the student with every bit of information that I can to guide them through their journey.
